Reinforcements at reception

Are you a true host at heart – and can you keep a cool head even when things get hectic at the front desk? Then you're the perfect fit for us. As Front Office Manager (m/f/d), you'll lead and motivate our team of seven employees and two trainees/dual students, ensure smooth operations at reception, and actively participate in day-to-day business. You'll manage reservations, quotas, and blackout dates, ensure optimal category sales, and work closely with sales on pricing and promotional activities.

Revenue/yield management, system maintenance (PMS, ideally Protel), reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the accommodation area are all part of the job, as are selected accounting tasks (accounts receivable, dunning). You'll also create work and vacation schedules, conduct performance reviews and interviews, train new colleagues, and coordinate night managers and temporary staff. Naturally, you'll also be responsible for manager-on-duty duties.

€ 2.000 Recruitment bonus

To kick-start your career at our 4-star hotel in southern Hamburg, you'll receive a signing bonus of €2,000 (gross) – paid in two installments.

What you bring with you

Several years of experience as a Front Office Team Leader, strong leadership skills, and a genuine hospitality mindset. You are assertive, a skilled negotiator, and work confidently and with a service-oriented approach. You possess sound business acumen, excellent IT and hotel software skills (ideally PROTEL), and fluency in German and English – any additional languages ​​are a plus. A genuine enjoyment of interacting with both national and international guests is essential.
